Bug fixes, Features, Stability and speed are all the good things that we love from our firmware updates. Word on the InterWebs is that the Nokia N9 will be getting updated with PR1.3:
… “small but valuable update,” according to the answer Nokia itself gave to an impatient user asking about the company’s plans for the N9.
The update is thought to arrive in june with Bug fixes and also some surprises. We wait with baited breadth …..

It’d be nice to have some minor fixes in a few area’s – I would hope they can do a bit about performance in terms of app start-up time, too. And I’d love to be able to browse my music per genre in the music player, that’s how I organize most of it
Can I have mpc support in the audio player, too?

I´m waiting for it, hope it will speed up the N9 and bring some cool features, even though it runs pretty smooth most of time. One thing i really miss is to sort tracks by genre –> playlists.
This is fake. There is not comming updates now. Nokia will fokus on win phones!

I recently got the PR 1.2 update so I’m happy with that. Yes, I would love to have easier ways to change simple things like I had with the Nokia 5800: disable welcome tune, change font size and some others that I assumed would be available. Once again, never assume.
