Some FAQ:
How long do I have to wait if registration fails?
Registration failure error has a number like “fail-too-recent::X”, X is the number of minutes you have to wait before trying again.
Will I still receive notifications when I close it?
-If you close wazapp by swipe down or from tasks window, it will remain running in background and you will receive notifications normally. If you close wazapp using the “Quit” button, it will totally exit and you won’t be notified about new messages
Does it support media sending (images,sounds, location ..etc)?
-Not yet. If someone sends you media it will not show up on wazapp, and the sender will not receive a “delivered” receipt from you.
Does it support group conversations?
-It supports group conversations partially. If you already belonged to a group, you will be able to send and receive messages on it. Buy you cannot create a group and yoou can not join new groups. Oh and you won’t be able to identify the message sender in a group as well 
Does it create an internet connection by itself?
-It uses the current internet connection and does not issue a new one automatically. If you disconnect, reconnect, Wazapp will restore its connection automatically.
Does it support emoji?
-No. And if someone sends you an emoji (smiley face), it would appear most probably as boxes. You might have seen similar behavior if you used Whatsapp on Symbian before it supported emoji
How does whatsapp fee and account expiry work on wazapp?
-Currently if your account expired you won’t be notified. Wazapp will not be able to connect without giving a reason.
Can I choose or change my password?
-No
How do I edit pushname ?
-From accounts settings in accounts manager
So here is a list of missing (and upcoming) whatsapp features:
- Fully functional group conversations
- Sending and receiving Media
- Sending emoji
- Blocking/unblocking
Known issues with this version:
- Splash screen is not swipable
- Auto registration code handling doesn’t always work
- Notifications won’t go away until you click it
- Chat item text max length is according to screen orientation where it was initially calculated
- Received duplicate messages are not discarded
- Chat bubbles don’t scroll correctly on virtual keyboard open/close

I request the registration number, but every time i open the app it says: unnable to log, eather registration expired or try erase the account on account manager en re-register.

Hi!! I have the same promblem, i just type the code manually but my messages to my contacts are never send, at the moment wazapp shows the message “connecting” maybe it will work hurry!!

Hi, I installed wazapp on my n9,but everytime when I try to launch the app, a window open for view seconds showing “wazapp initialising” and then it disappears again. Please help.
have you tried restarting your device? That fixed the bug for me.

i just install it and i love it, my N9 is a PR1.2 and not developed mode, i dont know if that matters, but works like i expected

How do u close a chat. I’m done with chatting with someone, i want t o close the chat. seems ryt now like the chat remains in the chats page.
close the keyboard you would ten be able to see the back button at the bottom.

raj you must first enable installing from non-auth source. its in settings –> applications –> insallations
turn the option on and install ..

Wazapp 0.2.6 has been installed on my phone…but when i try to register…it says tht server failed and i dont receive the verification code. I even tried getting the code through the voice call oprion and also clicked the “everything failed? Try me” button…but the same problem occurs… I would be really greatful if someone can help me with this. Thank you.

Seems like we’re mostly going through the same problem of not being able to login or connect to server/network and nobody cares to update us. What do we do now? I’m so frustrated… If account fails, what do we do Tarek? Or maybe I should install the NITdroid OS and install the real Whatsapp. Maybe it’ll work hassle-free. (N9 user, South Africa)
For all N9 users, it seems that no one is interested in helping us!!
through a simple search on Google (many Thanks for the Guy who shared it)i found out this solution and it worked perfectly and twice, here are the steps:
- using your PC, download a Software called Bluestacks (simply type bluestacks on Google browser)
- Download Bluestacks (that will take time depending upon the speed of your internet)
- After installing Bluestacks on your PC, instal “Whatsapp” and start the normal registration process for the number that you intend to use on your N9.
- You will receive the Registration code within 10 min, if not try the Getting the Code by the Voice Call.
- then use the Activation Code you got to activate “Wazapp” on your N9.
I Guarantee the Above as it worked for me twice.
Hope this works for All of You (Please update if it does).
Very Important: use the Activation Code that you get to Activate Wazapp on your N9 and dont type it in the Code area on your PC

Try the following if not tried yet : ( This worked for me )
1. Reinstall Wazapp on your N9 (and your SIM card is in N9)
2. Install Whatsapp on another phone, without a SIM card.
3. Register Whatsapp on the other phone (in my case was Samsung Note)
4. During the registration process, you will receive an SMS with the code on your N9.
5. Turn off Wifi or Phone on your other phone.
6. Try to register Wazapp on N9 now, after it fails, choose to enter code manually.
7. Enter the code you received in the SMS.
8. In case u dont receive the SMS, try the Voice option on the other device, you will get a Auto-call on yr N9 which will prompt you the 3 digit code.
8. All set to go…
