Soon the Nokia N9 will be released and it looks like there will be a synching solution for the PC and Mac that is readying itself in the shadows by the name of “Nokia Link”. Yes, that was not a typo earlier there is some Mac “Love” on its way as well.
You can use the the software to keep your Nokia N9′s Music, Videos and Photos sync’ed with your PC / Mac as well as being able to manually browse your device to copy media across. There is also support for iTunes and iPhoto if your that way inclined.
All there is at present is a holding page.

what about linux ?
as Homer Simpson said “D’oh!”
I have been a Nokia devotee for the last 10 years having regularly upgraded when the new models are release. My last was an N8 with which I was a little disappointed. Yesterday I picked up my new N9 and was really impressed with its initial operations, fast smooth and nowhere near as clunky as the N8, then I went to sync my calendar with Outlook. Pleas tell me that there is some interface that allows this basic functionality without having to go to complex workarounds using third party software?
All of the bells and whistles are nice but this is basic. Can you please advise how I can go about this as I really would like to avoid returning the phone and having to go to another product which at the moment appears to be my only option.
Same here! Long time user. Last product was N95 8 GB with full sync to the Outlook. Now it’s missed!
