So once upon a time the Master Plan from Asus was to Launch Two Asus Eee PC-101 Netbooks. One with MeeGo and the other one without. Well it seems like Asus decided to ditch the Blue Screen of Death Magnet and have gone all MeeGo !!!! The Eee PC X-101H has turned up at the FCC as we recently reported for the PC X101. This Netbook is a bit chubbier at 22mm thick compared to 17.6mm of its little brother, Intel Atom N435 processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, and a 10.1-inch WSVGA screen. If your into some light reading then you can also check out the Manual.

I don’t think they’re abandoning Windows altogether. This user manual says “MeeGo Edition,” which implies that there will also be a Windows edition.
My understanding was that the MeeGo version of the 101H wouldn’t be available in the US, but it could be offered elsewhere.
Hi Brad,
What I meant was that “Windows Ditched” for this particular model at this particular time
Obviously Windows is still in the Asus Portfolio.\
