Ever wondered what Binary compatibility there is between MeeGo 1.2 Core and MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan on x86 ??? Yes, that one tends to keep me up at nights as well. In an effort to provide more information the site Linux Testing has published a table showing the current situation:

cough Sorry, I’m calling BS on this list. As for QtSystemInfo, the symbols for QtSystemInfo v 1.2 are the same. currentThermalState() and cellDataTechnology() are certainly defined in QtSystemInfo 1.2. They obviously are using older pre 1.2/1.2 alpha library to test, which is not delivered on the harmattan device, nor in the SDK. Pure FUD.
It seems more like some of the librarys in Harmattan is newer than in Meego 1.2 and I take this as Meego 1.3 hopefully includes them. Otherwise Meego is failling not Harmattan IMHO.
There is also some librarys in Meego 1.2 that seems to be deprecated in the near future anyway (gtk+??) and not included in Harmattan. And the EDS vs Tracker mess was introduced after 11 february mainly because of Intel decisions it seems. I dont blame them for it but…
However there is some librarys in Meego1.2 that should be included in Harmattan libtheora is one.
